When I started building Dwellsee, it was a weekend project for an audience of one — me. I never expected more than a handful of people to use it. Fast forward to today, and there are over 100 of you. That still blows my mind.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped shape Dwellsee into what it is — reporting bugs, suggesting features, and helping me understand the quirks of different Samsung EHS setups. So much of what you see on the site exists because someone took a few minutes to tell me what they wished it could do.
Dwellsee is going to sunset in October 2026 — not because of money, but because Samsung is moving the SmartThings API to a paid commercial tier, and I've decided not to take this project commercial just to keep it alive. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who has chipped in via Buy Me a Coffee, hosting is fully covered for the rest of Dwellsee's life. A huge, heartfelt thank you to every one of you — it's meant a lot, and it means this decision was purely about the API, never about the money.
